The field course focuses on field techniques, workshops and snorkeling.  Due to tropical climate and time spent on field work and in the classroom setting, it is strongly suggested that each participant be as comfortable as possible.  Therefore, it is recommended that you bring casual clothing which includes short sleeve shirts, "T's", shorts,  long sleeve shirt and pants for sun protection in boat,  hat and/or bandana, old tennis shoes suitable for walking on beach rubble, swimming suits and, of course, sun glasses.

Necessary equipment needed are snorkel, mask, fin, booties, suntan lotion, mosquito repellant and water bottle.  Wet suits are also strongly encouraged, but not required.   Inflatable snorkel vests are provided.

A First Aid kit is always on board the boat, but it is recommended that you bring your own for your specific needs.

Due to the nature of the course with several lodging, air charter and boat changes, please limit luggage to one suitcase and one equipment bag.
