The 28th annual Belize Seminar and Field Workshop will be held May 17-25, 2008. This course is designed for members of the exploration and exploitation team who want to further their understanding of carbonate reservoirs. The study of modern carbonate depositional patterns are integrated with exploration techniques for carbonate reservoirs. Hands-on applications include comparing structural and topographic settings, investigating carbonate depositional patterns, applying modern geometric relationships of facies to ancient reservoirs utilizing core photographs, logs and seismic lines to map traps in North America. The excellent safety record we maintain is attributed to our goal of one instructor per six participants, the quality of our boats, and the professionalism of the boat captains. You will be pleasantly surprised at how valuable this course is for your area of study. Please visit each topic to learn about the course and how it can further your knowledge of recent carbonate sediments. As a special incentive for our 28th year there are special group rates being offered this year.
